A family of RWS for land, naval and air applications which includes stabilization and tracking. ESCRIBANO RWS is designed, developed and manufactured in its facilities located in the technological camps of Alcalá de Henares.

Guardian 2.0

Escribano Remotely-controlled Weapon System - Guardian 20 - Land Version

GUARDIAN 2.0 is a Remote Control Weapons Station (RWS) for 12.7 mm that could be adapted for 5.56mm and 7.62 mm cannon, lightweight and compact. The system is 2 axes gyro-stabilized and it operates day and night for combat, surveillance, target identification and tracking missions.

Specially designed to be integrated in a wide range of platforms and vehicles, this system provides defence capabilities for short and medium ranges with high firing accuracy being a reliable solution against asymmetric threats.

Cerberus

Escribano Remotely-controlled Weapon System - CERBERUS - Land Version

CERBERUS is a versatile remote weapon station, developed by TRIUM-DRS, for all-weather operations, incorporating the latest technology in ballistic calculation, optronics, radar signature reduction and man-machine interface (MMI).
This system is specially designed to be installed in a simple way on armored vehicles, minimizing the penetration. It combines an advanced fire control system with high precision long-distance shooting.

CERBERUS operates with an automatic medium caliber gun (30 or 40 mm) and with a coaxial gun of 7.62 mm. Additionally it is equipped with a retractable anti-car missile launcher and it has a double vision system, one panoramic and one combat system, both with interchangeable functions.

Sentinel 12.7

SENTINEL 12.7 is a Remote Control Weapons Station (RWS) for 12.7 mm that could be adapted for 5.56mm and 7.62 mm cannon, lightweight and compact. The system is 2 axes gyro-stabilized and it operates day and night for combat, surveillance, target identification and tracking missions.

Sentinel 20

Escribano Remotely-controlled Weapon System - SENTINEL 20 - Naval Version

Sentinel 20 is a gyro-stabilised remotely controlled weapon Station for 20 and 25 mm cannon designed for all weather operations (day and night) for combat and surveillance missions.

 

SENTINEL 20 is designed to be mounted in naval vessels incorporating an independent electro-optical system for observation and tracking operations.

 

This system incorporates an embedded simulation system for training operations remotely controlled from a control panel keeping always the operator protected by the vessel’s structure.

Sentinel 30

Escribano Remotely-controlled Weapon System - SENTINEL 30 - Naval Version

SENTINEL 30 is a gyro-stabilized remotely controlled weapon system for 30 and 40 mm. cannon to operate day and night for combat and surveillance missions. SENTINEL 30 is designed to be mounted in naval vessels incorporating an advanced fire control system allowing to get high shooting accuracy for long distances.

It incorporates an electro-optical system for observation and tracking operations and an embedded simulation system for training operations remoted controlled from a control panel keeping always the operator protected by the vessel’s structure.

AERIAL SYSTEMS

DGS

Escribano Remotely-controlled Weapon System - DGS - Aerial Version

DGS is a remotely operated weapon station integrated in the C-295 aircraft that feeds and fires the linked version of the Rheinmetall waffe munition BK27 revolver cannon through the rear paratrooper door. It integrates an ammunition handling in charge of feeding the gun with FAP and FAPDS ammunition; it also integrates a bullet casing and links collector.

A controlled computer is in charge of ballistic computation for gun aiming according to the selected target from the control stick. It integrates a gunner and cockpit panels in order to manage the safety functions.

DGS monitors and reports the status of the units from the system to the mission management system of the aircraft.
